Sydney Ports Users Consultative Group
The Sydney Ports Users Consultative Group is a representative body of the senior members of the port community, as well as an advisory and consultative body to Sydney Ports Corporation. The Group meets on a quarterly basis to discuss and facilitate the strategic agenda related to efficient port operations.
The membership of the Sydney Ports Users Consultative Group includes a number of industry and government representatives, including the stevedores, shipping lines, rail access providers, road transport operators, custom brokers, freight forwarders, intermodal operators, bulk liquid facility operators, Australian Customs Service, Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service and Sydney Ports Corporation.
The Group is involved in a number of areas, including key strategic matters related to freight and port operations, involvement in the planning and development of port initiatives, and maintaining close relationships across industry to respond to significant issues that impact on the efficient movement of freight.
