Port Authority of New South Wales (Port Authority of New South Wales) manages and develops port facilities and services to cater for the existing and future commercial shipping needs of the State of NSW.
With Sydney's population expected to grow by nearly 1.2 million people over the next 25 years, we are continually evaluating the capacity of Sydney's ports and developing strategies to meet future these needs.
Planning for this involves developing land, acquiring strategic assets and enhancing current assets.
Our focus and strategic intent is on:
Working with Government on the Masterplan for redevelopment of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay
Retention and continued operation of facilities in Sydney Harbour for non-containerised trade
