Sydney Ports Corporation established the Port Botany Expansion Community Consultative Committee (CCC) in August 2006 to work closely with community members during the construction phase of the project. Since establishment the Committee has been providing valuable feedback and comment on minimisation of environmental, community and construction impacts from the project.
As well as the Construction Environmental Management Plans and associated sub plans, the Committee has been consulted on the Traffic Management Plans and the Emergency Response and Incident Management Plan. The Committee will continue to monitor construction activities until the completion of the fit out of the container facilities, including utility services, pavements, buildings, portainer cranes and yard equipment.
