Train On-Time Running Reports

Reliable on-time running of trains will improve Port Botany supply chain performance efficiency and consistency.

Sydney Ports has engaged an expert rail consultancy to examine operational protocols and procedures and recommend solutions towards greater train efficiency.

The Port Botany Rail Team is working to improve information displayed on the Sydney Ports website. New functionality, including maps that enable users to drill down on specific Intermodal Terminals and Port Botany, is envisioned to be offered soon.

Train On-Time Running Reports

These reports detail on a weekly and monthly basis the activities undertaken at the Port Botany Intermodal interface.

Stevedore Dwell Time Reports

These reports detail the average train turnaround time experienced in each stevedore terminal on a weekly basis, and includes the variation of actual versus the planned time .

Rail Supply Chain Contingency Alerts (Trial)

Sydney Ports is encouraging rail operators to identify root causes of on-time-running problems in the supply chain. The following template is for rail operators, ARTC, Railcorp and stevedore terminals to communicate contingencies within the supply chain. Improved communication will help all parties plan more effectively. This framework will be utilised for a trial period from mid August, 2009 and if agreed implemented permanently.
