PBLIS Regulation & Mandatory Standards

The Ports and Maritime Administration Amendment (Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy) Regulation 2010 and the associated Port Botany Landside Operations Mandatory Standards (Under Part 2B of the Ports and Maritime Administration Regulation 2007) were developed through the Port Road Taskforce. On 26 November 2010 and 3 December, 2010, the Regulation and Mandatory Standards respectively came into effect.

The Regulation and Mandatory Standards provide the authoritative framework to support the operational performance standards at Port Botany. These performance standards will improve efficiency at Port Botany’s landside interface by encouraging the port supply chain’s stakeholders to be accountable to each other for their performance.
