Sydney Ports Corporation is committed to the environmental protection and preservation of Sydney Harbour, Botany Bay, and adjacent port lands as well as our properties at Enfield, and Cooks River. This commitment is embodied in the Sydney Ports’ vision statement and environment and sustainability policies.

Sydney Ports’ aim is to ensure a balance between the competing interests of the port, local communities and the environment.

Environmental management is an integral part of the way Sydney Ports does business. We have a comprehensive environmental management approach based on the requirements of ISO:14001:2004. The focus of the approach is to ensure that the identification and management of environmental risks and issues is integrated across all business functions and processes at all levels of the corporation.
