Sydney Ports Corporation recognises the increasing need to assist disadvantaged groups within our community.
In December 2002, Sydney Ports launched the Sydney Ports Community Care Program, managed in partnership with United Way one of the worlds leading charitable organisations.
Sydney Ports supports United Way through financial contributions from the Corporation and its employees and providing volunteer support.
Through the Sydney Ports Community Care Program we provide support to the Glebe Child Care Centre and Joseph Varga School.
United Way Sydney is an independent member of the 120-year-old global United Way network, operating in 46 countries worldwide.
United Way Sydney is a volunteer-based organisation with no religious or political affiliations. It mobilises people, groups and companies to donate time, money and resources to help local charities be more effective. This is achieved by establishing and managing Community Care Programs for companies.
