Sydney Ports Corporation is excited to celebrate Australia Day, saluting our nation’s rich history right here on Sydney Harbour.
Every Australia Day, Sydney Ports is involved in many activities from supporting events on and around the Harbour, with our Marine Services Team to sponsoring the Sydney Ports Jazz on the Water concert and Best Dressed Vessels competition.
For us, Australia Day also serves as a reminder about how Sydney Ports still to this day contributes to the maritime history of our city, state and country. We play a significant role in managing two of New South Wales’ most valuable resources Sydney Harbour and Port Botany. Combined, our ports now handle more than $50 million worth of trade each year and generate employment for more than 17,000 people.
We are Australia’s first port, and future port.
Australia Day on Sydney Harbour is like no other event and Sydney Ports was there to ensure the day on the Harbour was both enjoyable and safe for Sydney siders.
