Sydney Ports is proud to sponsor two Australia Day events for the 12th year in a row – the Sydney Ports Jazz on the Water and the Australia Day Best Dressed Vessel Competition.
Sydney Ports’ Jazz on the Water is a concert at Pirrama Park and Johnstons Bay, where audiences – both on and offshore – can ‘chill out’ to some of the best jazz Australia has to offer.
The line-up for Sydney Ports’ Jazz on the Water concert in 2012 includes Gerard Masters featuring Wes Carr, the Bodacious Cowboys playing the music of Steely Dan, EON Beats featuring Evelyn Duprai and Lily Dior, Son Veneno and the Royal Australian Navy Band.
The event is free and a great occasion to bring along a picnic. The concert runs from 3.00pm to 9.00pm. Food and beverages will also be sold there.
Meanwhile, the Best Dressed Vessel judges, including our own Harbour Master, Captain Phil Holliday, will be out on Sydney Harbour from 11.00am until 2.00pm looking for winners in the following categories:
There is a $500 prize in each category.
Sydney Ports wishes everybody a great Australia Day and a safe time on the water.
