28 February 2011 – New financial penalty system at Port Botany starts today.

Sydney Ports has today switched on reciprocal financial penalties for stevedores and road carriers following the end of a month-long final Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy (PBLIS) trial.

From today, 28 February, stevedores and road carriers who do not meet mandated PBLIS operational performance standards at Port Botany will be subject to reciprocal financial penalties.
