Australian Shipping & Maritime Industry Awards 2010

The 15th Annual Lloyd's List DCN Australian Shipping & Maritime Industry Awards took place at Sydney's prestigious Ivy Ballroom on Thursday 25th November 2010.

The awards played host to the who’s who of the Australian shipping and maritime industry. This unique event provides an excellent networking opportunity with the leading figures of the industry.

Sydney Ports was the exclusive category award sponsor for the Trade and Transport Hall of Fame Award. This prestigious award provides recognition to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to Australia’s trade and transport sector.

Sydney Ports CEO Grant Gilfillan presented the Trade and Transport Hall of Fame Award to Peter Dexter. Peter is Chairman of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Oceania, and a well known and respected member of our local ports and shipping community.

Congratulations to Peter for being acknowledged for his outstanding contribution to our industry, and in particular, for his long history of involvement with, and support for, Sydney Ports Corporation.
