Ports and Waterways Minister Paul McLeay believes NSW tourism was again the winner when Sydney Harbour played host to three superliners on December 9, 2009; the Pacific Jewel, Diamond Princess and Sun Princess.
All three ships proceeded through the Harbour between 6am and 7am including the giant 116,000-tonne Diamond Princess which made its first of her four visits of the cruise season.
The Diamond Princess was joined by her sister
ships the 77,000-tonne Sun Princess and P&O Cruises’ latest superliner, the 70,000-tonne Pacific Jewel which made her maiden visit to Australia.
