Cruise Passenger magazine's annual Readers' Choice Awards named Sydney Ports as the “Best Cruise Port”, winning the accolade over Venice and Vancouver.

Ports and Waterways Minister Paul McLeay believes NSW tourism was again the winner when Sydney Harbour played host to three superliners on December 9, 2009; the Pacific Jewel, Diamond Princess and Sun Princess.
