Looking curious and calm, two young giraffes were unloaded at Port Botany in November, on route to their new home at Dubbo’s Western Plains Zoo.
Ntombi, a 16-month-old female, and her brother, 12-month-old Forrest has spent a week aboard Yarrunga travelling from New Zealand's Auckland Zoo
Special transport crates had been designed to give the giraffes the opportunity to look about during their travels.
Taronga Zoo spokesman Mark Williams said both were in good shape after crossing the Tasman Sea on a meticulously planned voyage.
