New GM Industry Relations Appointed

Sydney Ports welcomes Lachlan Benson to the new position of General Manager Industry Relations.

Lachlan’s key role will be to ensure that the transport and logistics industry is actively engaged in the Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy project being lead by Sydney Ports through the Port Road Taskforce and the Port Botany Rail Logistics Team.

Lachlan has extensive experience developing high level political and industry focused network contacts, allowing the engagement and support of key decision makers to bring about strategically beneficial outcomes.

He comes to Sydney Ports after more than 5 years as Manager, Industry Relations NSW & QLD (Government & Stakeholder) with AWB.
