PBLIS Update - Truck Tracking Now Underway

On Monday 28 February 2011, Sydney Ports went live with the Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy (PBLIS) Operational Performance Measures (OPM), when reciprocal financial penalties for stevedores and truck carriers were switched on.

In May 2011, the PBLIS reform program reached another key milestone – two months ahead of the original schedule – with the much anticipated truck tracking system going ‘Live’.
