Refinancing of Port Botany to Fund Major Infrastructure Projects Budget 2011-12
The NSW Liberals & Nationals Government today announced plans to refinance State-owned assets at Port Botany, in addition to the leasing of the Sydney Desalination Plant, to fund priority infrastructure projects.
Weather Hits July Trade
Container trade through Port Botany fell by 8.8 per cent in July 2011, compared to the same month last year.
Sydney Ports Annual Transport Forum
The 2011 Annual Transport Workshop was held in August and was attended by over 100 senior industry representatives. A keynote address was given by Les Wielinga, Director General of the Integrated Transport Authority.

AMIC Conference
The Australian Meat Industry Council held its 2011 Meat Industry Conference at the Gold Coast on 24 and 25 August.
Sydney Ports has been sponsoring the AMIC conference since 2004.
PBLIS Operational Performance System
As August drew to a close, Sydney Ports prepared to go ‘live’ (on 1 September) with its new Operational Performance System (OPS), supplying the IT support for the objectives of the Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy.
