Sydney Ports Corporation is undertaking a major expansion of its container port facilities at Port Botany.

The expansion is one of the largest port projects to be undertaken in Australia in the last 30 years.

The project comprises:

  • Dredging to accommodate this reclamation

  • Road works

  • Community facilities

  • Environmental enhancement works

A Concept Design Report and Visual Amenity Management Plan have been prepared for the upgrade of Foreshore Beach and Penrhyn Estuary. This also includes the design for the new boat ramp.
