Sydney Ports Corporation has a key role to manage and develop port facilities and services to cater for existing and future trade needs.

As a corporation we continually evaluate the ability of port facilities to handle current trade needs and strategically plan for the future.

Planning for future trade needs involves developing land, acquiring strategic assets and enhancing current assets.

Two major developments under way currently include the expansion of container handling facilities at Port Botany and the development of an Intermodal Logistics Centre at Enfield to enable an increasing amount of freight to be moved by rail.
