Wharf 8 Cruise Passenger Terminal is now closed due to the development of Barangaroo.
Cruise operations west of the Harbour Bridge have moved to the newly constructed Interim Passenger Terminal at Barangaroo Wharf 5.
The Pacific Jewel will be the first vessel to use the Interim Passenger Terminal at Barangaroo Wharf 5 when it returns from a 14 day trip on 26 June 2010.
This site is approximately 500 metres along Hickson Road to the north of the old Wharf 8 Terminal.
The Barangaroo Wharf 5 Interim Passenger Terminal is a fully equipped facility of similar size and proportions to the old Wharf 8 facility.
An arrivals/departures area, together with AQIS and customs processing facilities is based within the structure and there is adequate space for taxi and vehicle drop offs.
This interim facility will be in place until a replacement passenger terminal is built.
Planning is now underway for a new permanent terminal at White Bay. For information visit www.shfa.nsw.gov.au
